The successor to the Honda Shine, the Honda SP 125 is the second BS-VI-compliant two-wheeler, making Honda the first manufacturer with 2 BS-VI-compliant products. Adding the SP 125 to its portfolio, Honda gets new body panels, fuel tank extension, alloy wheels, and a redesigned headlamp design.
The SP 125 is available in three variants- SP 125 Drum, SP 125 Disc, and SP 125 Sports Edition. The Honda SP 125 is powered by a 124cc BS-VI-compliant single-cylinder engine that generates 10.6bhp of power and 10.9Nm of torque. The bike engine is fitted with a five-speed gearbox. The SP125 features a fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlights, an engine start/stop switch, a distance-to-empty meter, an eco indicator, a gear position indicator, a combined braking system, and an odometer. For safety, the bike comes with CBS as standard.
Honda Motorcycles has integrated its Advanced Smart Power (ESP) technology into the SP 125, resulting in efficiency improvements of up to 16%. This technological innovation optimizes engine performance, providing a balance between power and fuel economy. It allows riders more efficient rides without compromising the dynamic performance of the SP 125.
