Benelli TRK 702

For the worldwide market, the new Benelli TRK 702 motorcycles have been launched, and they come with many standard features that other motorcycles in their category do not have.

Benelli’s latest middle-weight adventure motorbike, the TRK 702, was unveiled after the first patent filings went public. The Benelli TRK 702 has been updated and now comes with front and rear cameras as standard equipment. It is also available in two variants: a road-friendly tourer and an off-road-focused motorcycle.

Benelli TRK 702: Engine & Specifications

The 693cc parallel twin engine of the motorcycle, which is from CFMoto, makes 74 horsepower and 68 Nm of torque. The wheels are where the two Benelli TRK 702 motorcycles diverge the most; The off-road model gets 18-inch front, and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, while the road-oriented model gets 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels.

Brembo brake calipers with dual front disc, single rear disc, and two-channel ABS have been radially mounted on both motorcycles. The Benelli TRK 702 models come with a 30-liter fuel tank, seat height of 825 mm, and ground clearance of 190 mm.

Benelli TRK 702: Design & Features

The Benelli TRK 702 features a full TFT instrument display, LED surround lighting, a knock guard, heated grips and seats, and front and rear HD cameras for recording travel as standard equipment. All the features are available as standard for the first time in the segment.

There is no official announcement about the arrival of these two motorcycles in India, where they are priced at 5.40 lakhs and 5.90 lakhs, respectively. However, given that Benelli already sells the TRK 502 model here, it is only a matter of time.

India Launch, Price, & Rivals

TRK 702 was introduced by Benelli China for Rs 5.4-5.9 lakh. However, this price does not include taxes and RTO charges. By the first quarter of 2023, Benelli is expected to offer the TRK 702 in India at the same price range. Its two main rivals are Triumph Tiger Sport 660 and Kawasaki Versus 650, leading India’s best 650cc bikes segment.
