TVS Motors 650cc Bike Under Development; To Rival Royal Enfield 650 Twins
A recent media source suggests that TVS Motors wants to enter the 600cc-750cc motorbike market. The two-wheeler maker will introduce a new bike with a bigger capacity engine and a twin-cylinder configuration. According to the reports, the new TVS 650cc motorcycle will generate around 47 horsepower and 52 Nm of torque. Britain’s Norton Motorcycle Company can cooperate in its development.
TVS 650cc Motorcycle is Under Development
The latest offering from the domestic two-wheeler manufacturer, the TVS 650cc motorcycle, will be the most expensive. When released, the vehicle will immediately compete with the segment-dominating Continental GT 650 and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. More details about the new TVS 650cc bike will be made public shortly. It is important to mention that the corporation is yet to verify anything about the development.
About other recent developments, TVS MotoSoul 2023 showcased four customized motorcycles. These were the Indonesian Smoked Garage TVS Ronin Musashi and the German JVB Moto TVS Ronin Agonda. The other two are the Wakizashi by Rajputana Customs and the Ronin SCR by TVS.
The TVS Ronin SCR (Special Custom Ronin), is a scrambler with high ground clearance bike than the standard model and suspension spacers. Wrapped-around wire-spoke wheels with semi-knobby Shinco tires set it apart from the basic Ronin. The former has alloy wheels and tires designed for the road. As a conventional scrambler bike, the modified Ronin SCR sports a high-mounted exhaust system.
A twin-pod instrument cluster is available for the Ronin SCR. Other features include a revised LED headlamp, a longer front beak, revised bodywork, and a new single seat. The TVS Ronin SCR is currently not scheduled to go into production by the business. The TVS Ronin model of the MotoSoul shown gives a glimpse of the platform’s compatibility.
