According to a statement by Royal Enfield, the Hunter 350 has sold over 1 lakh units in India. It took the motorcyclist about six months to pass through this place. The lowest-priced model is for the younger generation with limited resources.
The Classic 350 and Meteor 350 are also built on the same J-Series platform that underpins the Hunter 350. Prices start from Rs. 1.50 lakh for the retro variation and Rs. 1.68 Lakh for the Metro with the Rebel color option; the Hunter 350 was introduced last year in two variants. Everything is priced ex-showroom Delhi. The bike is available for purchase outside India in Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, France, Italy, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Specs and Features
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 weighs 14 kg less than the Classic 350. The Hunter 350’s 349 cc single-cylinder engine produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission.
The Metro variant gets alloy wheels, and the retro version of the Hunter 350 gets wire-spoke wheels. The motorcycles are supported by telescopic fork suspension at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
There is even a difference in the size of the tyres of both variants. The Retro has 17-inch wheels and 100/80 and 120/80 (tubed tyres) front and rear tyres, respectively. The 17-inch wheels of the Metro model are shod in 110/70 front and 140/70 rear tyres.
The Retro gets a single-channel ABS rear drum brake for the braking system. On the other hand, the Metro gets a 270mm rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS.
In terms of features, the Hunter 350 is distinguished by its teardrop-shaped fuel tank, instrument console, concise exhaust, grab rails, taillights, indicators, and round headlight. You can add crash guards, passenger backrests, bar-end mirrors, individual seats, and other accessories to your bike.
