Kawasaki’s most popular naked bike available for sale in India is the Z900. The Kawasaki superbike stands out with its sharp LED headlight and muscular fuel tank. It has both front and rear disc brakes. Kawasaki also provides some rider aids to make the Z900 safer. The list includes traction control, riding mode, power mode, and dual-channel ABS. Apart from this, the Z900 superbike also has a TFT console with LED illuminating and smartphone connectivity.

Design

The Kawasaki Z800 has always been a good-looking motorcycle, but with time, it started looking old. Kawasaki completely redesigned the Z900 to address this motorcycle. The bike now takes design cues from the good-looking Kawasaki Z1000 and now has a sharp and small headlamp unit with a full LED headlight, which looks very attractive. Its overall design is exactly like the streetfighter motorcycle. The design of the new bike is quite modern.

Hardware  

The Kawasaki Z800 has already impressed us with its performance. The weight of the Kawasaki Z900 is 212 kg. But its weight is 35 kg more than the Kawasaki Z1000. The heavy kerb weight made it extremely difficult to drive in city traffic, and changing direction at high speeds also required more effort. Its braking consists of a dual 300 mm front disc and a 250 mm single rear disc.

Engine

The Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a 948cc liquid-cooled engine and inline four-cylinder motor mated to a six-speed gearbox. This motor develops 123bhp at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 98.6 Nm at 7,700 rpm. Its superbike fuel tank capacity is 17 liters. The mileage of this bike is 15 kilometers per liter.

Feature 

The Kawasaki Z900 comes with an LED instrument cluster, an anti-lock brake system, and a quick shifter. Comes with both front and rear disc brakes and an anti-locking braking system. Dual 300 mm petal discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and a single 250 mm petal disc at the rear take care of the braking.

Price

The new Kawasaki Z900 is Rs 1.5 lakh more expensive than the Z 800. So this means the Kawasaki Z900 price will be around Rs 9,29,000 (ex-showroom price, delhi). The current Kawasaki Z900 is available in only one variant.
