In January 2023, Royal Enfield will introduce the all-new Super Meteor 650 in India. The Super Meteor 650, which will be positioned above the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor 650, will be the costliest model in India for the leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment (250cc-750cc). At the EICMA 2022 in Milan, Italy, the Super Meteor 650 made its global premiere. In addition, RE recently showcased it in India at the Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2022 event in Goa.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Specs, Features, and Price
The 648cc, parallel twin, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-oil cooled, EFI engine powering the Super Meteor 650 was developed in conjunction with Harris Performance and is also found in the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650. The engine is connected to one and mated to a 6-speed gearbox, producing 52.3Nm of peak torque and 47PS power.
A spline frame made of steel tubing supports the Super Meteor 650. USD forks at the front and preload-adjustable dual shocks at the rear handle the suspension duties. Dual-channel ABS has also been given. Front alloy wheels are shod in tubeless 100/90 19 M/C57H tyres, while rear alloy wheels are shod in tubeless 150/80 B16 M/71CH tyres.
In India, the Super Meteor 650 could be priced at around Rs.3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). There will be regular and tourer versions. LED headlights and indicators, turn-by-turn navigation, wide handlebar pushback, revised engine cover, low scalloped seat, and fully forward foot control are some of the standout features.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Colors
There are seven color options for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. The five colors for the Basic Edition include Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Gray, and Interstellar Green. In addition, celestial Red and Celestial Blue are available in the Tourer variants.
