There are no notable modifications to the motorcycle apart from a new customized seat, saddle bag, a silver-colored oil cap, and an aluminum finish crash guard. It comes in multiple colors like Canyon Red, Ventura Blue, Orange Crush, Downtown Drag, Baker Express, Sunset Strip, and Mark 2, modeled after the existing Interceptor 650. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Lighting Edition in the UK has priced at just Rs. 6.41 lakhs.

RE Continental GT 650 Thunder

Like the Interceptor 650 Lighting Edition, the bike gets a host of new accessories, including leg guards, dual saddle bags, a handlebar, an oil cap in silver, and soft black panniers. Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is available in Mr. Clean, Ventura Storm, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green, and Rocker Red, the same five colors as the current GT. Continental GT 650 Thunder Edition has priced at Rs. 6.65 Lakh in the UK.

To compete in the mid-range Indian market, Royal Enfield, known for its retro classic styling, is introducing a new advanced, and compact motorcycle. As a result, the company recently introduced the Interceptor series and the Continental GT series in 2019. Additionally, RE unveiled the Super Meteor 650 to rival cruiser bikes in India.

Mechanically, the two new motorcycles are powered by a 648cc air-oil cooled parallel twin engine with a peak output of 47 bhp and peak torque of 52 Nm. However, the company is yet to announce its India debut officially.
