The Ather 450 Apex is expected to go on sale in India in January 2024, with an estimated price of Rs 1.6-1.7Lakh. The Okinawa OKHI-90, Ampere Primus, and Joy e-bike Mihos are bikes currently on the market that are similar to the 450 Apex.

The Lectrix LXS G3.0 is expected to be available in India from January 2024, with an estimated price of Rs 1.2-1.25 Lakh. Once launched, LXS G3.0 will directly compete with Okinawa Ridge 100, OLA S1 Air, and Okinawa Dual 100, which are currently among the top EVs.

3. Suzuki Burgman Street Electric

Suzuki is getting set to launch an electric variant of the Burgman Street 125 petrol scooter into the Indian market. Up until now, it has been surveyed a few times, providing some information before its formal release.

The Burgman Street Electric’s technical specifications are still unknown. It will probably face stiff competition from scooters like the TVS iQube and the Bajaj Chetak. At the auto show, Hero Electric unveiled the all-new AE-8 neo-retro electric scooter. It is expected to be launched next month and is part of Hero’s Trend series portfolio. On a single charge, the AE-8 can travel up to 80 kilometers and reach a maximum speed of 25 Kmph. It has a fully digital instrument console and full-LED headlamps with halo LED DRLs.

The Hero Electric AE-8 is expected to launch in Feb 2024 at an anticipated price of Rs 70,000. Once launched, Electric AE-8 will compete with Okinawa PraisePro, Hero Electric Nyx, Hero Electric AE-75, Okinawa R30, and Bounce Infinity E1.

5. Suzuki Access Electric

Suzuki is developing several electric vehicles for the Indian market. Apart from the electric maxi-scooter, Suzuki is also rumored to be working on an electric variant of its best-selling 125cc scooter, Suzuki Access 125. However, Burgman Electric will be the first electric vehicle to be launched in India by Suzuki.

Suzuki Access Electric is expected to go on sale in India in February 2024, with an estimated price of Rs 1.0-1.2 Lakh. Suzuki Access Electric will compete with TVS iQube, Ola S1, Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak, and the upcoming Honda Activa Electric.

6. Honda Activa Electric

Honda is developing an electric variant of the Honda Activa, which is currently a best-selling scooter in India. The Honda Activa Electric is expected to go on sale in India by March 2024, even though not much is known about the vehicle. The styling of the Honda Activa Electric is expected to be similar to its internal combustion engine. So, it will have a flat seat, a large front apron, and an LED headlamp.

In terms of features, Honda Activa Electric may get a fully digital instrument cluster, and the high-end models may get a touchscreen display with navigation and connected technology. The Honda Activa Electric is expected to range 100-150 kilometers on a single charge.

Honda Activa Electric is expected to launch in India in March 2024 at an estimated price range of Rs 1.0-1.2 Lakh. The currently available bikes that are similar to the Activa Electric are the Ola S1, TVS iQube, Ather 450X, and Bajaj Chetak Electric.

7. OLA Diamondhead

Ola Electric is working on an electric motorcycle named Ola Diamondhead. A few features certainly make the Ola Diamondhead electric motorcycle stand out. It has a prominent dome-shaped windscreen, a clip-on handlebar, and an LED strip headlamp. 8. OLA Roadster

Along with other EV bikes, Ola Electric has also revealed the Roadster concept electric motorcycle, which looks equally futuristic. The Roadster has wide, streamlined side panels. The LED headlight blends seamlessly with the overall look of the Roadster thanks to its unique design.

Then, from the side, the OLA Roadster chassis is visible directly beneath the rider’s seat. Ola has installed a three-piece seat in the concept bike, the first part of which crosses the tank area. Apart from the digital console, the Roadster Idea also gets full LED lighting.

The OLA Roadster is expected to go on sale in India in October 2024, priced between Rs 1.5-2.0 Lakh.

It has a strong tail rack to hold luggage, a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, and a pointed front beak. The Ola Adventure features a wide handlebar with guards, an LED headlamp with a clear visor on top, side panels that fold into the front beak, crash guards at the bottom, a single-piece seat, and a long tail. The panels appear to be flush-fit all around.

The Ola Adventure will all come with USD front forks, mono-shock, front and rear disc brakes, and spoke wheels with block pattern tyres.

10. OLA Cruiser

The Roadster, Adventure, and Diamondhead all look as sleek and futuristic as the Ola Cruiser. It has a seat and long, wide panels on each side. The Ola Cruiser features larger wheels, longer rake and tail, forward-set footpegs, and a low stance.

The bike is equipped with a USD front fork with a large cover and a mono-shock. The braking system consists of one front and one rear disc mounted on rubber-covered alloy wheels with an inclination toward the road.

Apart from full LED lighting, the Ola Cruiser Concept also has a digital console. It will premiere later in 2024.
