Husqvarna has unveiled the new Svartpilen 801, which replaces the 701 iteration. The Svartpilen 801 is built on the same platform as the KTM 790 Duke, but of course, it has several changes to give it its personality.
Design
The Svartpilen 801 features Husqvarna’s avant-garde design. It features a large circular headlamp with a small, flat flyscreen, a compact fuel tank with flat and curved side bulges, and an aluminum sub-frame that forms the tail section.
Engine
Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 has a 799cc parallel-twin, DOHC engine that generates 103.25bhp at 9,250rpm power and a peak torque of 87Nm at 8,000rpm. This bike motor comes with a standard six-speed gearbox that gets a quick shifter. To help the rider extract all that performance, Husqvarna has equipped the bike with several rider aids such as three riding modes, cornering ABS, and traction control, as well as optional wheelie control and cruise control.
Features
This Husqvarna bike also includes a five-inch TFT screen that looks similar to the smaller Svartpilen 401. Svartpilen 401 has Smartphone pairing via Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation is also part of the package.
Hardware
As far as hardware is concerned, it has 17-inch alloy wheels suspended by WP Apex USD forks and a monoshock, both of which are adjustable.
Price
Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 price Rs.3,38,878 in india and include RTO and insurance. It is unlikely to arrive on Indian shores shortly, as its parent company, Bajaj Bikes in India, is currently focusing only on small displacement vehicles.
