Suzuki’s new adventure motorcycle, V-Strom 800DE, has recently been launched in India. If you are planning to buy it, here are five things you should know about the Japanese brand’s flagship adventure motorcycle, which is currently on sale in India.
Design
The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE has a sturdy and helpful design. Because it is an adventure motorcycle, it has been thoughtfully developed. Similar to other adventure bikes in India, the bike has a tall riding position. It has an LED headlamp that is stacked vertically and an adjustable, clear visor on top. Its strong style is attributed to the supplementary beak located below.
The motorcycle’s long travel suspension system, upward-facing elevated exhaust muzzle, high ground clearance, and sleek body all work together to improve its aesthetic appeal and provide the necessary riding practicality for an adventure model, allowing it to navigate challenging terrain easily. Three paint jobs are available for the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: Champion Yellow, Glass Mat Mechanical Grey, and Glass Sparkle Black.
Features
The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is a large adventure bike with several high-end features made possible by cutting-edge technologies. The motorcycle has a five-inch color TFT display, an LED taillight, turn indicators, and a headlamp. It also has a USB charging outlet.
In addition, the new Suzuki bike is equipped with an easy start system, a driving mode selector, ride-by-wire, a bidirectional quick shifter, ABS, low RPM assistance, and traction control with a Gravel mode. With this array of electronic aids, it should be easy for the rider to become accustomed to the motorcycle’s capabilities.
Drivetrain
The 776 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine of the all-new Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is paired with a six-speed transmission for power. At 8,500 rpm, its power mill can produce 84 bhp of peak power and 6,800 rpm of maximum torque.
Brakes, Wheels, And Suspension
The adventure bike Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is equipped with chunky block pattern tyres on spoke wheels measuring 21 inches up front and 17 inches back.
