In India, Bajaj Auto has introduced the Pulsar N160, a new model with improved hardware and additional amenities. Ex-showroom, the motorcycle costs Rs. 1.40 lakh. Let’s examine the new Pulsar N160’s salient features.
DESIGN
The Pulsar N160 has a sporty appearance, so it’s not a bad thing that the current version has styling comparable to the previous iterations. It gets a flowing tail section, sharp tank extensions, and a bikini fairing with an LED projector headlamp. Along with an engine belly cowl, the Pulsar N160 also gets a floating effect on the front mudguard.
NEW INCLUSIONS
This specific Bajaj Pulsar N160 model has USD forks in place of the telescopic units seen on the standard model. In terms of features, the digital console now has phone and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it has several ABS modes, including road, rain, and off-road, which change the ABS intervention according to the riding environment and mode chosen.
BIKE COMPONENTS
The motorcycle’s remaining components include 17-inch wheels with tires on the front measuring 130/70 sections and the rear measuring 100/80 sections. Two discs measuring 280 mm in front and 230 mm in back, as well as dual-channel ABS, handle the braking duties. A rear mono-shock with preload adjustment is fitted to the motorcycle.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
The new Bajaj Pulsar N160 is powered by the same 164.82cc oil-cooled engine that generates 14.65Nm at 6,750 rpm and 15.68bhp at 8,750 rpm. It is coupled with a five-speed gearbox. At the low end of the curb, the new motorcycle weighs only 152 kg, and its fuel tank holds 14 liters.

The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, and Yamaha FZ-S Fi are competitors of the Bajaj Pulsar N160.
