Triumph India launched the Scrambler 400X in India on 5 July 2023. This is the most affordable scrambler bike in Triumph’s line-up. There are two more scramblers – Scrambler 900 and Scrambler 1200. The Triumph Scrambler 400X bike is available in only one variant and three colors. Here are five things you need to know about the new Scrambler 400X.
Design and Colors
Scrambler 400X has more design elements, such as a headlight projector, radiator, sump, and hand guards. It has LED lighting everywhere. This bike is available in 3 colors: Khaki Green, Carnival Red, and Phantom Black. Scrambler 400X has the same engine and same chassis.
Engine and Specifications
Scrambler 400X is powered by a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 39.5bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 37.5Nm at 6,500 rpm. The bike weighs 185 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters. The engine is linked with a six-speed gearbox.
Hardware and Features
The Scrambler 400X hardware gets a 43mm big piston with 150mm travel suspension at USD front forks and mono shock at the rear. This bike also gets larger 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch alloy wheels at the rear. Scrambler 400X has dual-channel ABS.
The features of the Scrambler 400X are:

- A USB charging port.
The display features an analog speedometer and an LED for gear position indicator, fuel level, trip meter, odometer, tachometer, and other readings, with front and rear disc brakes. This Triumph bike comes with an ABS braking system.
Price
The Triumph Scrambler 400X is available in only one variant, the Scrambler 400X Standard and its price is Rs 2,62,996 (ex-showroom Delhi).
