As they update the Bajaj Pulsar models for the Indian market, Bajaj Auto is having a great time. The domestic manufacturer has unveiled the 2024 Pulsar N250, which debuted in November 2021 as its first version. To keep the Pulsar N250 competitive and up to date for 2024, the two-wheeler maker made several improvements to the model.
Aesthetic Adjustments
Bajaj Auto has introduced two new color schemes for N250 – Pearl Metallic White and Glossy Racing Red. For the Pulsar N250, Bajaj is also offering a Brooklyn Black colorway. In addition to the colors, each of the three colors receives new visuals.
Added Features
Bajaj has upgraded the Pulsar N250 with a new digital instrument cluster for 2024. The unit in question was first seen on the Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160. Information such as gear position indication, instantaneous fuel economy, distance to empty, average fuel economy, and time are displayed on the redesigned cluster. The standard trip meter, odometer, speedometer, and fuel gauge will be included.
A new switchgear is placed on the left side of the newly launched street bike. Additionally, while operating the motorbike, the rider will have the ability to accept or reject calls. The mobile phone and motorbike would be connected via the Bajaj Ride Connect application. This implies that Bluetooth connectivity is also provided to the cluster.
Updated Safety Features
Already installed on the Pulsar N250 was a dual-channel anti-lock braking system. Bajaj has now introduced three ABS modes, though. Road, rain, and Off-road are all present. In addition, traction control is available, which deactivates the engine when it senses that the back wheel is slipping.
Hardware Modifications
The Pulsar N250 receives USD forks upfront as the only hardware modification. They add a degree of refinement to the motorcycle’s riding experience. The bike has disc brakes on both ends and 17-inch wheels.
Engine
A 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 24.1bhp and peak torque of 21.5Nm powers the Pulsar N250. A five-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and assistance is mated to it. One of the best engines available, it provides a decent balance between performance and fuel efficiency, according to our testing.
Competition And Pricing
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250, at Rs 1.51 lakh, is somewhat more expensive than the 2023 bike and has additional features. Its rival in the competition is the Suzuki Gixxer 250. Bajaj offers various other two-wheelers in different styles; check out the Bajaj bikes price list.
