2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 – Things to Know

Bajaj is getting ready to introduce the 2024 N250 in India after revamping the Pulsar NS line. The new street bike has been seen being tested in secret multiple times. Here are some expectations for the 2024 Pulsar N250 based on the test mule, which is a popular model for Bajaj.

Design and Platform

Based on the pictures, Bajaj most likely uses the same chassis as the bike from the previous generation. Nevertheless, the minimum bodywork and tank shrouds remain, as does the design. However, Bajaj can use different color schemes to give the motorcycle a modern appearance.

In addition to the original black paint job, the bike now has two new ones: Pearl Metallic White and Glossy Red. These also have updated fuel tank visuals for the 2024 model. It’s refreshing to see new colors added. Furthermore, the Red and White paint schemes include units that are golden in color, even if the black hues have blacked-out front forks. Moreover, the headlight and DRL designs are the same as the previous model—in contrast to the NS200, which underwent an overhaul.

Features and Equipment

USD forks, most likely the same ones as the Pulsar NS200, will be included with the new N250. In addition to this hardware modification, the N250 will also receive LED illumination, 17-inch alloy rims, disc brakes on both ends and a mono-shock at the back.

The digital instrument cluster, an LCD device akin to the Pulsar NS200, will be the other significant change. Bluetooth phone connectivity will be available on the redesigned instrument console, enabling call notifications and navigation. Then, three ABS modes—Road, rain, and off-road—and traction control have been added to strengthen the safety net.

Only when using the off-road ABS mode can you turn off the traction control. The newly added mode button on the left switch cube allows you to toggle between these choices.

Once more, nothing will change in this area either, as Bajaj Auto will still employ the same 249cc single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine. The engine has a 5-speed gearbox and produces 24 horsepower and 21 Nm of torque. Additionally, the rear axle now has a 140-section tyre rather than the previous 13-mm size.

New Price

Formerly priced at Rs. 1.50 lakh, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 is now available for Rs. 1.51 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Taking into account all the additional features that the Pulsar N250 has, that is a minor price increase.
