The adventure bike segment has grown in popularity. These models are from different brands and vary in engine specifications, need, budget, and convenience. We’ve listed the top five most affordable options. 1. Suzuki V-Strom SX

Suzuki V-Strom SX is an adventure bike in only one variant and three colors. It is powered by a 249cc BS6 engine, which develops a power of 26.1 bhp and a torque of 22.2 Nm. Both front and rear disc brakes come with an anti-locking system. This bike weighs 167 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters. The hardware comprises front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks.

2. Royal Enfield Scram 411

The Scram 411 is Royal Enfield’s latest offering. It’s priced at Rs 2,03,085. The bike is available in 3 variants and seven colors. The colors are Graphite Red/Yellow/Blue, Blazing Black, Skyline Blue, White Flame, and Silver Spirit. The Scram 411 bike weighs 185 kg and offers a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters. Moreover, it’s also an affordable alternative to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Its features include a single-pod instrument cluster with a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip meter, fuel level indicator, and other readouts.

3. Yezdi Adventure

Jawa Yezdi Bikes has given several updates to improve NVH levels over its predecessor. The styling cues include a round headlight at the front, a tall windscreen, a split-style seat, a side-slung exhaust, and wire-spoke wheels on both ends. The Yezdi Adventure comes in 3 variants and three colors – Slick Silver, Mambo Black, and Whiteout. Adventure Slick Silver starts at Rs. 2,53,613. The price for the other variants – Adventure Mambo Black and Adventure Whiteout is Rs. 2,67,069 and Rs. 2,67,231.

4. Honda CB200X

An 184cc, single-cylinder motor powers the Honda CB200X. It can churn out 17.03bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. However, the Honda CB200X is positioned as a motorcycle capable of light off-road riding. However, the suspension hardware is the same as the one on the Hornet 2.0, with upside-down forks and a mono-shock. The hardware is a 276mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear, accompanied by a single-channel ABS. 

5. Hero XPulse 200 4V

Hero MotoCorp has launched the new XPulse 200 4V in the Indian market. The BS6-compliant 200cc engine, a four-valve, oil-cooled engine, produces 18.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The company offers power across the mid- and top-end speed ranges and delivers stress-free engine performance even at high speeds.

Apart from being the best bike under 1.5 lakh, it has many great features like- it include an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, and a single-channel ABS. The motorcycle is available in three new color options: Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid.
