Kawasaki H2R was launched in India on 22 August 2018. Kawasaki Bikes has also updated its product portfolio in 2023 with the launch of its new variant, Ninja H2R. The track-only motorcycle has seen a price increase, and the new 2024 model is available at Rs 79.90 lakh, which was earlier Rs 75.80 lakh. 4,10 lakh more than its predecessor. Design
The new model Ninja H2R continues to use the aerodynamic winglets next to the fairing and windscreen, rider-only saddle, trellis frame, and single-sided swingarm. The Superbike design is aerodynamic, with a rider-only saddle, a trellis frame, and a single-sided swingarm that comes with the same iconic design. The R variant of the H2 family is the technology-only motorcycle. The motorcycle weighs 266 kg (kerb).
Colors
Kawasaki Ninja H2R is available in 1 variant and one color. The Ninja H2R paint option is mirror-coated matte spark black.
Engine
The Kawasaki’s new superbike, Ninja H2R, continues to use a supercharged, 998cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine that produces 305.7bhp at 14,000 rpm (328.9bhk with ram air) and 165Nm of peak torque at 15,000rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox, which benefits from a slipper/assist clutch and bidirectional quick shifter. It requires a minimum octane rating of RON95. Its fuel tank capacity is 17 liters.
Features
Electronic rider assists include cornering ABS, traction control, wheel control, slide control, launch control, anti-locking braking system, and engine brake control—other features such as rear-view mirrors, headlamps, and turn indicators. The IMU setup allows the instrument cluster to display.
Hardware
The Ninja H2R’s hardware includes 43mm upside-down front forks and an Öhlins TTX36 gas-charged rear mono shock, both of which are fully adjustable. The braking setup consists of twin 330 mm discs with four-piston Brembo 350 monobloc calipers at the front and a single 250 mm rotor with a two-piston Brembo caliper at the rear.
