Bajaj Pulsar NS125 vs. TVS Raider

Gone are the days of boring commuter motorcycles. Even if one can still afford a standard commuter motorcycle, some people are starting to wonder if they wouldn’t be better off investing a little more money on something more exciting and equipped. TVS Raider and Bajaj Pulsar NS125 fall under the category of best 125cc bikes. Here are the two motorcycles evaluated.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 vs TVS Raider: Looks

Older Pulsar NS models, such as the NS160 and NS200, inspired the NS125’s aesthetics. Even though the design is a bit old-fashioned, the geometric shape and paint job make it aggressive and stunning.

The Raider is brand new, and its design may seem bulky to some. However, it is a suitable choice for commuter motorcycles, often designed to appeal to a broader consumer base. Due to its unique shape and yellow color schemes, the Raider certainly stands out on the road.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 vs TVS Raider: Specs

The Raider is powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine with three valve layout, air-oil cooling, and fuel injection as its power source. Its maximum output is 11.22 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

On the other hand, the Pulsar NS125 is powered by a two-valve, air-cooled engine that produces 11.82 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It also has a 5-speed transmission.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 vs. TVS Raider: Features

With an optional USB port, Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, a clock, under-seat storage, LED lighting, a reverse LCD, or a 5-inch TFT screen, the Raider certainly beats the competition in terms of features.

The Pulsar NS125 gets an analog rev counter and a semi-digital instrument cluster, which some take for granted. No additional features are available, and the taillights only have LED illumination.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 vs TVS Raider: Price

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 on road price is Rs. 1,20,218 (Delhi price). In contrast, the TVS Raider 125 on road price is Rs. 1,00,720. The Raider 125 is more affordable and features more equipment than the Bajaj Pulsar NS125.
